GTA 5 Online Money Fronts Update Coming June 17 With Free Content

Rockstar Games has officially confirmed the release of its upcoming GTA 5 Online content expansion, Money Fronts, as part of the Summer Update 2025. The downloadable content (DLC) is scheduled to go live on June 17, 2025, across PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.

This marks the franchise’s first major update since Agents of Sabotage launched in December 2024. Despite no new story mode expansions, GTA Online continues to be a central reason behind the game's enduring popularity more than a decade after release.

The Money Fronts DLC introduces several new in-game business fronts. Central to this is the Hands On Car Wash, designed as a legitimate business cover that integrates with the player’s existing criminal operations. Players can use it to expand their in-game income while maintaining a low profile.

The update also adds two additional fronts: Smoke on the Water, a cannabis dispensary, and Higgins Helitours, an air tour operator. Each contributes to different illegal operations — enhancing output from the weed farm and air freight cargo, respectively. However, running multiple fronts increases law enforcement scrutiny in the game world, compelling players to balance underground dealings with aboveboard operations.

The update brings several gameplay improvements. Replayed missions will now bypass unskippable cutscenes, streamlining repeat attempts. Additionally, the Missile Lock-On Jammer will now support up to 50 vehicle targets. Players will also see doubled Arena Point sources, encouraging more participation in Arena-based events.

Four new vehicles are set to debut with this update:

* Överflöd Suzume (Supercar) – Early access for GTA+ members

* Karin Everon RS (SUV)

* Woodlander (SUV)

* Declasse Tampa GT (Sports)

While these will initially be exclusive to GTA+ subscribers, they will become available to all players after the update drops.
